About Us:

Turnkey Technology Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1995 as an IT consulting company in Charleston, SC. It was incorporated in 2003 and added database programming and custom-prepared computer sales to its services. Over the course of time, data protection and recovery became a larger and larger portion of the consulting business. Eventually, our dissatisfaction with existing data backup products led us to enter the software arena to make a better product.

The BackupKey concept was born in late 2005 after Turnkey president Tom Fair witnessed catastrophic data losses in computers and networks that had backup systems in place. Development of BackupKey began in earnest in the spring of 2006. By the fall of 2006, the software was ready to release and Mr. Fair assembled a team to bring BackupKey to market. BackupKey was released on November 14, 2006.

Turnkey is continuing to develop products with two goals in mind:

• Simplicity of understanding and operation
